Two Times teams to campaign

The Fiji Times Limited has registered two Fiji Times Clean-Up Teams one in Suva and one in Lautoka to mark the Fiji-wide Clean-Up Campaign.

In Suva, 19 company employees together with some family members have registered to clean up along Amy, Holland, Selbourne and Hercules streets.

In Lautoka, the Fiji Times Clean-Up Team have registered 13 employees as well as family members to clean-up their office as well as the areas around Shirley Park and Marine Drive.

Fiji Times marketing manager Foto Ledua said this was not the first time the company was participating in the campaign.

"We have been doing this in the past years. We have promoting Clean-Up Fiji with our news coverage, through newspaper advertisements and by providing a clean-up team," she said.

The Fiji Times Clean-Up team in Suva will be joined by the Sotia Central Club whose members are being registered on the Sotia Central website.

The website is owned by the Fiji Times and provides a social network for Fijians in the British Army and their friends and families in Fiji.

The Sotia Central Club members have been informed of the initiative and a good turnout is expected.

The Fiji Times Ltd is one of the major sponsors of the Clean-Up Fiji Campaign.
